The Monster Employment Index Canada is a broad and comprehensive monthly analysis of Canadian online job demand. As the first national index measuring real-time online recruitment activity, the Monster Employment Index Canada is based on millions of online job postings and data culled from Monster Canada as well as a number of other recruitment Web sites believed to be representative of employer activity nationwide. With data collected since April 2005, the Index uses a consistent methodology to track online job postings in Canada, and provides Canadian labor market watchers with a new forward-looking indicator of employer demand for employees.
