Legal professionals continue to come to Monster for employment opportunities. There are over one million legal resumes registered in the Monster U.S. resume database, which continues to add over 800 new resumes per day. In 2006, job candidate growth was extremely strong, but falling during the months of November and December, primarily due to a typical seasonal slowdown. Growth is expected to remain consistent in 2007.

Legal job seekers continue to be willing to relocate. In general, Legal job seekers are optimistic about finding work locally; however, about 32%, compared to 35% in all other Monster categories, are open to the possibility of moving. For the most part, these are candidates with specialized training across a variety of occupations.
